These Terms of Use apply when you access, create an account with, or use Bordy.
By actively accepting these Terms and creating an account, you agree to them. Bordy's Privacy Policy explains its handling of personal information and is provided as a notice rather than a request to consent to every processing activity.
If you use Bordy on behalf of a business, client, organization, or team, you confirm that you have appropriate authority to do so.
1. About Bordy
Bordy is a workspace and business-management platform. Bordy may provide tools for content planning and scheduling, projects and tasks, meetings and notes, approvals, team collaboration, reports and statistics, files and media, clients and contacts, invoices and payment tracking, contracts, documents, expenses, services, time and activity tracking, business reporting, and related workspace and management features. Features may develop, change, or be introduced over time.
2. Eligibility and Your Choice to Use Bordy
You may create an account only if you are at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority where you live, whichever is higher, and legally able to enter these Terms. Bordy is an optional organizational tool. You are responsible for deciding whether its features are suitable for your work, clients, industry, location, and risk requirements. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account or use Bordy.
3. Access, Purchase and Storage
New Bordy accounts may receive seven days of full access without a payment card. Continued use of editing features after that period requires a one-time Bordy access purchase. The purchase covers Workspace and Management for the purchasing account and workspaces it owns; invited members use the workspace owner's entitlement and remain subject to their assigned permissions. Five gigabytes of cloud storage is included as a total allowance across all workspaces owned by an account. Optional monthly or yearly storage plans replace the included allowance with the selected total allowance. If a storage plan ends, the allowance returns to 5GB. Existing files remain available to view, download, or delete when usage is above the allowance, but new uploads may be paused. Purchases are completed through Gumroad as merchant of record. Current product details, renewal terms, and pricing are shown at checkout.
4. Accounts
You are responsible for providing accurate information when creating an account, keeping login credentials secure, and all activity under your account. You should not use another person's account without permission. If you believe your account has been accessed without authorization, take reasonable steps to secure it.
5. Workspaces and Team Access
Bordy allows collaboration through shared workspaces. Workspace owners and administrators are responsible for invitations, members, roles, permissions, workspace settings, client information, business information, and shared workspace content. If you invite another person, you are responsible for ensuring they should have access, managing their permissions, and removing access when appropriate. Members should only access information and areas they are authorized to use.
6. Your Content
You keep ownership of the content and information you add to Bordy, including documents, files, images and videos, tasks, notes, meeting information, content plans, captions, client information, brand assets, contracts, invoices, expenses, reports, shared links, and other workspace information.
By adding content to Bordy, you give Bordy permission to store, process, display, transmit, and otherwise handle that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and operate the service. This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to Bordy. You are responsible for making sure that you have the rights, permissions, authority, or lawful basis needed to use information you add.
7. Cloud Storage
Bordy provides limited cloud saving for certain information, files, documents, media, and workspace content. Storage limits may apply and may change as Bordy develops. Users are responsible for managing their available storage and maintaining appropriate copies of important business information. Bordy should not be treated as the sole permanent archive or backup location for important documents, files, records, or business information.
8. Shared Links and External Files
External services control the availability, security, and permissions of their files and links. Users are responsible for checking sharing permissions before adding or distributing links. Changes on an external platform may affect whether a link continues to work.
9. Third-Party Integrations
Some Bordy features may connect with social media platforms, file-storage providers, calendar services, communication services, payment providers, and other external services. When you choose to connect another service to Bordy, you authorize Bordy to exchange information with that service as reasonably necessary to provide the requested functionality. Your use of a third-party service remains subject to that service's own terms, privacy policy, permissions, and requirements. Third-party platforms may modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue their services or APIs independently of Bordy.
10. Content Planning and Publishing
You remain responsible for content you publish or authorize for publishing. Before publication, review accuracy, spelling, client approval, brand requirements, copyright, trademark rights, media permissions, advertising disclosures, links, dates, schedules, and destination. Where you manage content for another person or organization, you are responsible for having authority.
11. Clients and Contacts
If you add information about clients, customers, employees, contractors, collaborators, suppliers, or other contacts, you are responsible for being permitted to use and store it. Workspace access should only be provided to people who reasonably need access.
12. Contracts
Bordy may provide tools for preparing, storing, organizing, sending, signing, or tracking contracts and related documents. You are responsible for reviewing any contract before using or sending it and for ensuring contract information is accurate, appropriate parties are identified, required approvals have been obtained, people signing have appropriate authority, and the agreement is suitable for its intended purpose. Bordy provides organizational and document-management tools. Bordy does not act as your lawyer and does not determine whether a contract is legally appropriate, enforceable, or suitable for a particular situation.
13. Invoices, Payments, Expenses and Financial Information
Bordy may provide tools for creating invoices, recording payments, managing expenses, organizing services, and reviewing business information. Users are responsible for the accuracy of client details, pricing, taxes, payment terms, invoice information, expense records, accounting records, and applicable reporting requirements. Where payments are processed by a third-party payment provider, that provider's terms apply to the payment service. Bordy is not a bank, accountant, tax adviser, or financial adviser.
14. Reports, Statistics and Business Information
Bordy may provide dashboards, analytics, reports, calculations, statistics, or other business information. These features are provided as organizational tools. Information shown may depend on information entered by users or received through third-party services. Users should review important information before relying on it for financial, legal, contractual, client, employment, tax, or other significant business decisions.
15. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Bordy to:
- Break applicable law
- Infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, confidentiality, or other rights
- Upload or distribute content you do not have permission to use
- Access accounts, workspaces, or information without authorization
- Misrepresent your identity or authority
- Distribute malware or intentionally harmful code
- Attempt to bypass Bordy's security
- Intentionally interfere with or overload the service
- Facilitate fraud, abuse, deception, or unlawful activity
- Collect or process personal information unlawfully
- Use Bordy in a way that materially harms other users or the operation of the service
Bordy may restrict or remove access where reasonably necessary to address serious misuse, illegal activity, security concerns, or material violations of these Terms.
16. Service Availability
We work to keep Bordy useful, secure, and available, but it may be interrupted by maintenance, technical issues, network failures, security requirements, third-party platforms, or events outside our control. We do not guarantee every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. Nothing removes rights or remedies available under applicable law.
17. Responsibility and Limitation of Liability
We work to provide Bordy with reasonable care and to keep the service secure, useful, and available. Bordy is an organizational tool, not a guaranteed archive, professional adviser, or substitute for your own review and judgment. Maintain appropriate independent copies of important records and check material actions before they are sent, published, approved, signed, invoiced, paid, or otherwise relied upon.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Bordy is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from user-provided information or instructions; actions taken by workspace users; incorrect, incomplete, or outdated records; decisions based on reports, calculations, reminders, schedules, or analytics; failure to maintain reasonable backups; independent third-party services; internet or device failures outside Bordy's reasonable control; or a user's failure to protect credentials and permissions.
These limitations allocate reasonable responsibility; they do not make you accept risks caused by fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, breach of a non-excludable duty, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Bordy does not provide legal, accounting, tax, financial, employment, or other professional advice. Mandatory consumer, privacy, contractual, and statutory rights remain available.
18. Changes to Bordy
Bordy is actively developed. We may add, change, improve, replace, limit, or discontinue features and storage allowances. Where a material change affects legal rights or requires notice, appropriate notice will be provided.
19. Privacy
Bordy's Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, processed, stored, and protected. By creating an account, you acknowledge processing as described there and as reasonably necessary to provide and secure the service.
20. Account or Workspace Restrictions
Bordy may restrict, suspend, or remove access for serious or repeated violations, illegal activity, fraud, unauthorized access, material security risks, deliberate interference, or material harm. Where reasonably possible, an opportunity to correct the issue may be provided.
21. Ending Your Use of Bordy
You may stop using Bordy at any time. Where account deletion is available, deleting an account may delete associated information subject to backup, security, and legal retention requirements. Shared-workspace information may remain where it belongs to the workspace or organization.
22. Cancellation and Refunds
The
Refund Policy explains cancellation and refund handling for Bordy access and optional storage plans. Nothing in that policy or these Terms limits a remedy that cannot legally be excluded. Gumroad processes purchases, cancellations, and approved refunds under its applicable procedures.
23. Applicable Rights
Nothing in these Terms removes consumer, privacy, contractual, or other rights that cannot legally be waived or limited in your country, state, province, or territory.
24. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines, without removing any mandatory protection available to you under the law of your country or territory. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact Bordy so the concern can be reviewed through an accessible internal complaints process. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief or using a regulator, consumer authority, or dispute process available under applicable law.
25. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Bordy develops, features are introduced, or legal requirements change. Where changes are material, reasonable notice will be provided where required. Updated Terms apply from the stated date, subject to mandatory rights.
26. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Bordy may use essential cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies where necessary to provide and secure the service. These technologies may be used to keep users signed in, maintain account sessions, remember essential preferences, support security, and enable core platform functionality.
Bordy does not use these technologies for advertising or behavioural tracking.
If Bordy introduces optional analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking technologies in the future, they will remain disabled until any consent required by applicable law has been obtained. Read the Cookie Policy for current details and browser choices.
