Bordy is designed to make managing work simpler.
To keep Bordy useful, secure, and respectful of everyone involved, users are responsible for how they use Bordy and for the information they choose to place inside their accounts and workspaces.
This page forms part of and should be read together with Bordy’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
1. Your Content
You are responsible for content and information you create, upload, save, paste, link, share, or manage through Bordy, including content plans, media, documents, notes, tasks, meetings, client materials, brand assets, contracts, invoices, expenses, reports, files, shared links, and contact information. Before adding content, make sure you have permission or another appropriate right to use it and respect copyright, trademarks, privacy, confidentiality, contractual obligations, client instructions, applicable laws, and other people’s legal rights.
2. Client and Personal Information
If you place information about clients, customers, team members, employees, contractors, collaborators, suppliers, or business contacts in Bordy, you are responsible for being permitted to do so. Only collect and store information reasonably needed for your work and take appropriate care with confidential, private, financial, business, or sensitive information.
3. Workspace Access
Workspace owners and administrators are responsible for inviting the correct people, assigning appropriate roles, reviewing permissions, removing access when it is no longer needed, and protecting client and business information. Members should only access information required for work they are authorized to perform.
4. Keep Your Account Secure
Use your own account and keep login information secure. Do not knowingly provide your password or authentication credentials to unauthorized people. If you believe your account or workspace was accessed without permission, take reasonable steps to secure it and review access.
5. Cloud-Saved Files
Bordy provides limited cloud saving. Storage availability and limits may depend on the account or feature. Maintain appropriate copies of important business documents and records; do not use Bordy as the only permanent backup location.
6. Shared Links
Before sharing a link, review its permissions. A link that works for you may not be private or accessible only to intended recipients. The service hosting linked information controls its availability and sharing settings.
7. Content Planning and Publishing
Review content before it is published or distributed, including accuracy, spelling, client approval, brand requirements, media rights, copyright, trademarks, advertising disclosures, links, dates, schedules, and publishing destinations. Have appropriate authority before publishing for another person, client, or organization.
8. Meetings, Tasks and Deadlines
Bordy can organize meetings, tasks, schedules, reminders, and deadlines, but users remain responsible for their own responsibilities. Review important meetings, tasks, deadlines, deliverables, approvals, client commitments, and project requirements. Do not rely exclusively on a single notification where missing a deadline could have significant consequences.
9. Contracts
Review contracts before sending, approving, or signing them. Confirm information, parties, authority, approvals, and signer authority. Bordy’s contract features are organizational tools; consider professional advice when appropriate.
10. Invoices and Business Records
Review invoices, payments, expenses, service information, reports, and financial records for accuracy, including client information, prices, taxes, payment terms, invoice numbers, expenses, accounting records, and reporting requirements. Bordy does not replace accounting, financial, tax, or legal responsibilities.
11. Reports and Analytics
Reports, calculations, statistics, and analytics may be based on information entered into Bordy or received from connected services. Review important figures before relying on them; users remain responsible for decisions made using information presented through Bordy.
12. Third-Party Services
If you connect Bordy with another platform, follow that platform’s applicable rules. Review permissions before connecting an external service and remove them when you no longer want the services connected.
13. Responsible Use
Do not use Bordy to:
- Break applicable law or access information without permission.
- Misuse personal information or infringe rights.
- Upload content you do not have permission to use.
- Harass, threaten, defraud, deceive, distribute malware, bypass security, or overload the service.
- Use another person’s account without authorization or facilitate illegal activity.
Bordy may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, maintain security, or address serious misuse.
14. Your Decisions and Actions
Review information before publishing content, sending information, approving work, signing a contract, issuing an invoice, recording a payment, making a financial decision, sharing a document, giving access, or acting on a report, reminder, calculation, or recommendation.
15. Access and Storage
New accounts may receive a seven-day access period without a payment card. Continued use of editing features requires the Bordy access purchase. Five gigabytes of cloud storage is included across all workspaces owned by an account. Optional storage plans replace that total allowance with the selected allowance. Workspace members use the access and storage entitlement of the workspace owner. Features, storage limits, functionality, and availability may change as Bordy develops, with notice where required by applicable law.
16. Respect Other People’s Rights
Respect the privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, workspace permissions, business information, and personal information of clients, team members, collaborators, customers, and others. Only share information with people who should have access.
17. Applicable Laws
Use Bordy in accordance with laws and regulations that apply to you and your activities. Requirements may differ depending on your country, industry, clients, content, and business activities. Nothing here removes rights available under applicable law.
18. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Bordy may use essential cookies, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies where necessary to provide and secure the service. These technologies may be used to keep users signed in, maintain account sessions, remember essential preferences, support security, and enable core platform functionality.
Bordy does not use these technologies for advertising or behavioural tracking.
If Bordy introduces optional analytics, advertising, or other non-essential tracking technologies in the future, they will remain disabled until any consent required by applicable law has been obtained. Read the Cookie Policy for current details and browser choices.
19. Questions
If you are unsure how a Bordy feature handles information or what rules apply, review the Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Cookie Policy, or email bordyapp@outlook.com.
